With Landen I used a ring sling wrap, which I liked, but didn't love-it often got twisted, and when he got bigger we used an ergo carrier, which is great. I bought a home made mei tei, but it was big and thick, and awkward. I think I'd like a hotsling...
I'd like a new wrap/sling/carrier to carry little one in, and was checking out this site to find one. They are having a contest, so go enter.
"Win the Essential Babywearing Stash from Along for the Ride (one Beco Butterfly, one Hotsling baby pouch, one BabyHawk Mei Tai, one Zolowear Ring Sling, and one Gypsy Mama Wrap)"
And let me know if you have a favorite from your babies newborn days. :)

With Fritz I used the Peanut Shell when he was really little. It was perfect for him as a newborn. When he got bigger I moved on to the Moby Wrap and then finally to the Ergo.
Adrian is not a fan of slings. He gets too hot and sweaty and hates it. He despises the Peanut Shell, though it's still perfect for a newborn. He doesn't like the Moby Wrap either. I've actually got him in the Ergo now (he's technically too small and I don't use the infant insert). He'll only tolerate it when I'm moving like when we are grocery shopping. He's been using that one only since he was 3 weeks old and about 10 1/2 pounds.
I've been loving my Moby with Daniel. It was great when he was tiny stomach to stomach, really soothed him, and now that he's a bit bigger he love forward facing SO much.
He and I couldn't work a pouch sling (I have a hotsling) for newborns, I couldn't figure the tummy to tummy and he hated lying down. i know some swear by them, though.
I always end up loving a mei tai. i want to love a wrap sling (like a sleepy wrap) but i cant handle all that fabric! i just cant do one shoulder slings they hurt my back.
