Thanks for all the responses! Wow! In addition to the probiotics on my breast, I am going to go with the gentian violet, and I found directions on how to do that in Dr. Jack Newman's breastfeeding book, as well as one of my doula manuals. I have mixed reviews on whether I should treat Landen or not. That will be interesting at the Kingdom Hall tonight, two little ones with purple mouths. A kodak moment, yes? :)

Hope it works! I'd be on the fence about treating Landen, but it can't hurt so it's probably a good idea.
I actually wrote an email to Dr. Jack Newman, and he responded not to bother and treat Landen, as did my ped. who called and said I should use Nystatin. I am still going to try the G.V. first, and if I have no results (which I imagine I will) go for the other. Thanks Heather!
